Farewell to Erin Dalton: A Heartfelt Thank You for Three Incredible Years

Last Updated 12/2/2025

It’s never easy to say goodbye to someone who has poured so much heart, energy, and compassion into our mission, but as Erin Dalton moves on to her next chapter, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible impact she’s had on SPECO and the community we serve.

Erin’s journey with us began as a volunteer, showing up week after week with a genuine desire to help others. When the opportunity opened to bring her on as our Outreach Organizer, it was an easy decision, and from day one, she hit the ground running.
Over nearly three years, Erin led our direct services with remarkable dedication. She brought a level of organization, teamwork, and partnership-building that helped SPECO strengthen and expand its reach across the community. Under her leadership, our pantry program grew beyond food to include essential household items: cleaning supplies, hygiene products, toilet paper, paper towels, and laundry detergent; meeting the real, everyday needs of our neighbors with dignity and care.
Erin also became known for her incredible ability to stretch every dollar, ensuring that every resource went as far as possible to help as many people as possible. Her compassion for our clients and her deep empathy in every interaction made a lasting impression on everyone who walked through our doors.
Erin didn’t just do the work; she built relationships, created trust, and helped strengthen the foundation of what SPECO is today. Her fingerprints are on so many parts of this organization, and her heart is woven into its story.

While we will miss her presence deeply, we are so proud of the difference she made and grateful for the time we’ve shared together.

Thank you, Erin, for your leadership, kindness, and unwavering commitment to helping others. You’ve left a lasting legacy of compassion and community care at SPECO. We wish you every success in the journey ahead — you’ll always be part of our SPECO family.
